Taurex Resources plc is an independent company investing in oil & gas exploration and production; providing expertise, management support and capital to develop projects and companies.

We are currently participating in the North Fork Project and Simplicity Prospect on the Hunton Formation in Oklahoma, USA. Both are gas de-watering projects with oil & gas leases, North Fork covering up to 50,000 net acres and Simplicity up to 10,000 net acres in Lincoln and Okfuskee Counties.

Change of Company Name & Website Launch	Tuesday 13 January, 2009

Taurex Resources plc (“Taurex” or “the Company”), an independent investing company, today announces the Change of Name of the Company from Cardinal Resources plc, and the launch of a new website at www.taurex.co.uk. The change of the Company’s name from Cardinal Resources plc to Taurex Resources plc (approved by shareholders’ resolution of 01 December 2008) is registered with Companies House as of 23 December 2008. All existing share certificates under the Cardinal name remain valid.
